  • In Vietnamese culture, the ritual of offering salt and rice at the year's start carries a profound wish for abundance and a flourishing beginning. Salt symbolizes enduring bonds, while Rice represents the "pearls of heaven" for a prosperous life. Inspired by this timeless tradition, these jars are crafted in the form of a sacred lotus bud, finished with red lacquer and gold gilding. More than a gift, they are auspicious creations carrying blessings for a year of harmony, prosperity, and timeless elegance.

  • Handcrafted Vermilion Lacquered Ceramic Jar with Gold Leaf are finished using the traditional technique of vermilion lacquer with gold leaf applied over a ceramic base, combining handcrafted heritage with an East Asian aesthetic sensibility.

Beyond its refined surface beauty, this technique carries layers of cultural value and long-standing beliefs shaped over time. From architecture and ceremonial objects to objects of significance, vermilion lacquer with gilding has long been associated with wishes for prosperity, peace, and enduring stability.
